I am Jasmina Ninkov, a happily retired from the public service lady, a free-lance translator and court interpreter, the author of my first book to be released soon, the lover of the written word in whatever medium it may be.

I am a philologist, graduated from the Department for the English Language and Literature, University of Belgrade and all my life have been creating and building a sumptuous opus of my translation works which I am quite proud of.

I am the mother of two beautiful and successful daughters and the grandma of  two adorable girls. They are the pupils of my eyes, the joy and worry as any mother knows.

Recently got married to an exotic young African man who I will pursue my life path, adventures and dreams and goals with until it has been realized in a happy union of two crazy loving perosn.. 

I love beauty in any form of its manifestation. Reading all the time and everywhere, writing and researching are my indoor activities, whereas bike riding, swimming and long walks comprise the outdoor ones. I love travelling, meeting new people, learning about new cultures and lifestyles, thus enriching my life experience and my world of imagination. I am energetic, creative and a perfectionist when it comes to work, childish, adventurous and fun privately, a devoted friend and young in my heart and mind.

To me love is the main inspiration, the driving force that motivates us to greet everyday with “Good morning gorgeous! What a beautiful day it is today!” And so La vie est belle is there to share some fun, life, travel, reflections and adventure writing with you.
